1st Lt. C. Robert Arvin is an Advisor to the 7th Vietnamese Airborne Battalion.

Wounded in Battle

1st. Lt. Arvin catches enemy shrapnel in his left arm and is hospitalized in Phu Bai

1st. Lt. C. Robert Arvin Killed in Battle.

Declining an offer to join Westmoreland’s staff in Saigon, Arvin returns to his Battalion, and is killed in action.

Rededication of the Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center and Arvin Alcove

In 2005 a $97 million 497,000 square foot renovation of the Arvin Gym was completed, making it the largest building at the USMA at West Point. Through the generosity of classmates of 1965, a beautiful Alcove was built commemorating the life of Captain C. Robert Arvin.
